Here I am.  A blogger.  But I am way more than a blogger.  Every moment of my life has brought me to this point.  And this a pretty good point to be at.

Sometimes ya feel like a nut!  Starting this blog could be among the nuttier things I’ve tried recently, but there’s a lot more to me.  Here’s me in a nutshell:

  • I’m 25.
  • I live at home.  I have taken over the kitchen and still love it here!  I’ll move out someday…pinky-swear!
  • I have an amazing, tight-knit family.  I am the oldest of three and the only girl!

Mom, Dad, and the Bros

  • I’m taken – by my high school boy, Adam…and the true love of my life, Lucy, the puggle!

Our Little Family on Christmas Morning

  • I teach lil’ ones!  They really do say the darndest things and they’re good for my self-esteem….don’t mind any pics you might see…I really do look like Cinderella!  Just ask my kindergarteners!
  • I love food.  I don’t know if I’m a true foodie, but I find great joy in kitchen experiments, grocery shopping, and fresh new ingredients.  I’m also known to take up just about any offer to eat at a yummy restaurant.
  • I love fitness.  I entered the exercise work on January 1, 2009 and have worked out consistently ever since.  I find balance through intense cardio sessions, mixed with lots of pilates/yoga.  I incorporate strength training whenever possible, but still need some work in that area.
  • I am a classic planner/researcher.  I love the read, gather information, and organize.  I love learning new things and sharing it with everyone!
  • I like trying new things, but I’m sooo not adventurous.  I want to be, but I’m not.  I’ve lived in the same house for my entire life.  I am deeply rooted in my family and community and can bear to leave.  I do enjoy travel and am always curious about new places and people.
  • I’m a little loud.  Ok, ok….maybe a lot loud! I love talking, singing…just using my voice in general.  My doctor actually sent me to an ENT because I lose my voice often.  After much examination, he said, “Rest your voice.  Talk less.”  Bahaha!  I guess I’ll drink more tea with honey and deal with the hoarse voice.

I’m very rarely lost for words, but I think this is all I’ve got for now.  I’m sure I’ll think of so much more to share.

Thanks for visiting…and thanks for the hair love! I’m in RI, not too far. I know there was a blogger meet-up in the area not that long ago, but I wasn’t an official blogger then – we’ll have to plan another one for all the local bloggers!

Thanks for your comment on my blog, your words made me smile. I heart your blog too! I’m still trying to find my fall marathon, but was considering the Newport Half. I look forward to reading more of your running adventures. 😉
